Canadian Women & Sport to Expand its Program Facilitators and Consultants Team

It’s a great time to join the organization!

Canadian Women & Sport currently has a team of 20 Program Facilitators and Program Consultants, who help expand the impact of our organization by delivering programs and broaden our reach from coast to coast to coast.

As demand for our offerings has increased, we are looking to add more Program Facilitators and Consultants (PFCs) to our team to meet this demand and execute the organization’s mission and strategic goals. PFCs help bring our mission to life by working to create a sport system that empowers girls, women and gender-diverse people – as active participants and leaders – within and through sport.

PFCs are an extension of CWS, who will help increase the impact of our organization by delivering programs and broaden our reach from coast to coast to coast.

Program Consultants coach and support sport leaders and senior leadership teams looking to advance gender equity in their organizations. Their work is client-facing and they work collaboratively with senior sport leaders to problem-solve, dissect complex issues and implement organizational changes.

Program Facilitators work with front line sport leaders and grassroot sport organizations, and their teams to facilitate workshops and programs.

As a Program Facilitator or Program Consultant at Canadian Women & Sport, you will:

  • Be part of leading gender equity work within the Canadian sport system.
  • Complete an official onboarding program that explores our theory of change, strategy, mission and vision, policies, programs as well as available organizational tools and resources.
  • Be supported by the Canadian Women & Sport team, and have access to feedback and an evaluation process, on-going professional development opportunities and a community of other facilitators across Canada.

Both roles are flexible, remote independent contractor roles.

What Canadian Women & Sport programs and initiatives will Program Facilitators and Program Consultants support?
