Job Posting: Coordinator, Programs

Position Summary 

We are looking for a full-time Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring seamless program planning, implementation and delivery. Reporting to the Program Manager of our network of Program Facilitators and Consultants (PFCs) you will work closely with the PFC network, other Program Managers, and Canadian Women & Sport (CWS) staff providing support, scheduling, training, administration, and maintaining program quality standards. You will also be a part of education plan development, execution of training sessions and community building within the PFC network.  

This role is for someone who is a self-starter who can work with a high volume of inputs and can ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. You’re someone who is energized by improving processes to ensure high quality experiences. Ideally, you bring a combination of coordination experience, a passion for relationship building, customer service, and a proven track record of strong communication and process improvement skills.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will: 

  • Establish trusting and respectful working relationships with members of the PFC network.  
  • Support the PFC network with accessing materials in the SharePoint portal (Homeplate), triaging scheduling and other program implementation issues. 
  • Frequently provide technical support in navigating Field of Play (our digital platform for program delivery), SharePoint (Homeplate) etc.  
  • Support the development education plans and facilitate onboarding and on-going training opportunities for PFC network.  
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of PFCs in Canadian Women & Sport. 
  • Maintain standards in program execution and perform program implementation quality control. 
  • Perform matching with the PFC network to opportunities and build consistent relationships. 
  • Develop and execute processes for quality program delivery. 
  • Triage information from PFCs and share/make recommendations to relevant CWS team members.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Requirements: 

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience 
  • Knowledge of support and operations practice, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience. Particularly in the areas of administration, operations, and program delivery. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and adapt to new and evolving environments. 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills  
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships.  
  • Excellent collaboration & team skills  
  • Flexible, adaptable, inquisitive, and resourceful 
  • Exceptional commitment to detail and quality  

Strong assets: 

  • Previous work or volunteer experience in the non-profit and/or sport sector. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience or commitment to learning to apply an intersectional gender equity lens, including specific understanding of anti-oppression and accessibility principles and their applications. 
  • Experience facilitating onboarding and on-going training sessions. 
  • Experience working with digital tools such as CRMs (Salesforce specifically), Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, Zoom, Airtable, and Submittable or equivalents. 
  • Bilingualism (French-English) 

DETAILS

  • This is a full-time, permanent, and remote position with the option of flexible working hours (core hours are 9am to 5pm time zone dependent). 
  • We will consider applicants located anywhere in Canada.  
  • Salary range is $52,000 – $58,000 plus comprehensive health benefits. We determine starting salary based on the candidate’s experience alignment to the role and Canadian Women & Sport’s Core Competency Framework. 
  • This position requires some travel (minimum two times a year within Canada for team gatherings and as needed for project teaming or training).
